Improv Troupe

I’m part of a nine-member Improv Troupe that creates funny skits through both short-form games and long-form scenes. We meet every week to check in, play warm-up games, and focus on specific skills like listening, idea generation, and building relationships.

I’m both a member and a leader in the group, and I love contributing ideas and helping to shape our performances.

Some of my favorite games are Dating Game, where one person guesses who the other players are, Sitch, a big group activity, and Late to Work. We perform every one to two months, and it’s always a fun and collaborative experience.

Comedic Writing & Performance

At Lexington High School, there are three a cappella shows each year called Jams. They are very popular and always draw a large crowd.

In 2024-2025 I was choosen to emcee the three events. This entailed introducing each group and keeping the show moving with witty comedic bits between sets.

For Spring Jam my co-host and I created an intro video timed with a dramtic entrance to kick off the event. This ended up being a highlight of the show.

The Jams emcee experience taught me about how to combine writing, performance, and video production to hold an audience’s attention from start to finish.

Fleur de Lis

Summer stage performances

I’ve attended Fleur de Lis, an all-girls sleepaway camp, since I was eight years old.

Each session includes a full theater production created and performed by campers in just one week. Over the years, I’ve performed in nine shows, including Mamma Mia, Tangled, Enchanted, and Madagascar Jr.

These productions taught me how to collaborate with others and stay adaptable under pressure. I also learned how to bring a show to stage in a short amount of time.

Hip hop Performances

The Dance Inn

I’ve been perfoming hip-hop dance for over 7 years. This style of dance is energetic and I enjoy connecting to the rhythm and attitude.

I’m drawn to it because it emphasizes creativity and performance over precision, giving me the freedom to express character through motion.

Over time, I’ve focused on refining my technique, mastering musicality, and bringing confident presence to each routine.
